Lana has a BSW from UBC, a MSW from UNBC and is registered with the Social Work Association. She has knowledge and training in a variety of counseling modalities. She is a certified Reality therapist and trainer, as well as a Hypnotherapist. In addition she has certification in the Myers Briggs Personality Type Inventory.
Lana has worked in a variety of social work areas that include: administration and family, child and youth care. Currently, Lana teaches social work and does private practice counseling for Walmsley and Associates. Lana has extensive counseling experience working with a variety of client groups that include individuals, families, couples, children and sex offenders.
