Tom was called to the bar in 1981 and has practiced family law in Prince George since 1989. Tom is also qualified as a Family Mediator and has done meditations in Prince George. Tom has been interested in the Collaborative Law approach to family law since 2002 and has taken training in Arizona, Kelowna and San Jose. Tom is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and attended their convention in Vancouver in 2003. Tom hopes to see more of his clients choose to settle their family separations outside of the court system because he has seen the courts cause more problems for his clients than it has solved.
